Civil Wing

• Design checking and approval of civil works pertaining to substations and transmission lines in special cases.
• Design and Engineering pertaining to substations and tower foundation of transmission lines referred by PI and O&M wings etc.
• Construction of civil works related to new and old substations.
• Construction of Switch yard, Control room, Boundary wall, Residential colonies and Office buildings
• Construction of special type of foundations (well foundations and pile foundations) for transmission towers, wherever necessary.

Construction of Substation

• Construction of equipment foundations
• Construction of buildings such as control room building, GIS control room, store shed etc.
• Construction of transformer plinth, gantry tower foundations, road chain link fencing, switchyard turfing, overhead water tank etc.
• Construction of residential colony for operating staff and its maintenance.

Construction of Line

• Construction of transmission line tower foundations in special condition such as pile foundation and well foundation, if tower lying in or near river bed.
• Protection of existing tower foundations if required
